Pujya Acharya Shri Swami Rambhadra Sharan Ji
A centre for practitioners should be a place for self-realisation — not for becoming preachers.
Revered Swami Ji was born in 1980 on Margashirsha Shukla Paksha Ekadashi (Geeta Jayanti), in a Brahmin family in Umaria district, Madhya Pradesh. He obtained his M.A. in Sanskrit Literature from Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa, and a B.Ed. from Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Lucknow.
From 2005 to 2008, he studied Advaita Vedanta formally under the guidance of Revered Swami Subodhanand Saraswati Ji at Chinmaya Mission's Sandeepani Gurukul. Why the Foundation exists
Anand Math Foundation is dedicated to preserving and sharing India's timeless spiritual wisdom through Gurukul education, Vedantic learning, meditation and moral values. We strive to nurture character, compassion and inner strength while promoting harmony, social welfare, education, environmental care and universal brotherhood. Through these efforts, we aim to uplift individuals and society, creating a more peaceful, ethical and spiritually enriched world.
We appeal to the society of practitioners who love the precious heritage of India, Brahmavidya, that today there should be an institution that nurtures serious and introspective scholars and practitioners, away from the race of publicity and competition. A centre for such practitioners should be a place for self-realisation, not for becoming preachers.
