Information we collect

• Information you send us. Our contact form opens your own email application with your name, email address, phone number (optional) and message pre-filled, which you then choose to send to us. We only receive what you decide to send.
• Donation information. If you donate by bank transfer or UPI, your name and payment reference reach us through the banking system. If you request an 80G receipt, you may share your name and PAN with us by email.
• Language preference. Your English/Hindi choice is stored only in your own browser (local storage) to remember it between pages. It is never sent to us.

This website does not use advertising cookies and does not run third-party analytics or tracking scripts.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiries and requests;
• To acknowledge donations and issue tax-exemption (80G) receipts;
• To keep records required under applicable law (including the Income Tax Act for 12A/80G compliance).

Third-party services

To provide certain features, the site loads content from third parties who may collect data under their own policies:

• Google Fonts and Google Maps (embedded map) — see Google's Privacy Policy;
• YouTube — links and embedded videos load only when you choose to play them; see Google/YouTube's Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.

Sharing your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only where necessary to process a donation (for example, with our bank) or where required by law, court order, or a government authority.

Data retention

We keep donation and receipt records for as long as required by law and for our own accounting. Enquiry emails are kept only as long as needed to assist you.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you have shared with us. Write to anandmathfoundation@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time, subject to any records we must keep by law.

Children's privacy

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
